We don't shutter concrete back in the UK just dig and fill.....0.5 meters wide and minimum of 1M deep... but mine where close to 2M at back of property line due to soil composition not good enough....

Top Ball Joint Alternative.....

Here's my top ball joint with a rasied tower Pin to get the hieght between the Joints bigger... Using a High Angle High Quality 5/8unf Joint.....and a NAS aircraft Bolt though the centre to hold them alltogether...

Let the build Comence

Have all the services round now to mark the land, and there all clear of where I want to dig.
Visited a ICF House build (Insulated Concrete Forms), and am still convinced it the way I want to go. 8" of walls insulation gets it over R40 rated plus its a 4 hours Fire rating.....
So far found 6 different ICF manufactures, but Quad Lock is the cheapest so far, and they are only in BC.... Just waiting for another quote and then I shall place my order.

Have had some quotes for the excavation work, and in comparison to doing it myself it's
only $800 more so looks like the Pro's will be doing the digging, and for that extra 800 they take away all the extra earth I don't need...............

So have will be setting a date for the Dig next week..... Yehhhaaa finally get my dream garage....

Body .....

Well I suppose alittle taster of the new Body would not hert... Here's another early shot, now is more smoothed off and ready to be split in 2 pieces so the top part (With Per-specs Canopy) will pivot from the roof and the rear with Fixed Diffuser Will stay in place....

Diffuser will start at the Engine Plate and extend past the rear bodywork...

SVA Compliant of course....

Chassis and Suspension

Well as much as I'm getting into the garage build, seems I have some questions to answer about the Project car....

Well for questions about the suspension on the first car I wanted a more compliant ride,( Less bone shaker) so have rubberised bushes with double shoulders fitted opposed so will never move in the horizontal plain. These are all on the chassis pickups. The upright ends are all Spherical Joints and rose joints, so are precise and alow for Camber adjustment. Have aloud for 2mm of shimming on the chassis side to make dam sure I get the caster I wanted perfect, my last GTR was .3degree diferent from one side to the other and that was anouying.... Will be doing a fully rose jointed version of the suspension for those who want it aswell....
