Machining Billets...

Most things worth doing are worth doing right, is a Fraze I keep saying.. So on that note after many early versions of the rear uprights, I have Finally come up with these.......

The hole car has been built with the aid of CAD Design, a good friend of mine does CAD for a living and has kindly been working on that side of things. Its the only way to keep full records of measurements and the only
way to machine intricate parts and know they will fit first time out....
So you can see what you've got before you put it together......

and exhaust manufacture is simple now with CAD, just draw what you want with the Specs of material you know you can get, then the rest is done by the pro's all mandrel bent and then just assembled and Tig'd up ....

To make sure my machining costs don't go right out the window, as they will be machined out of Billet Aircraft quality Ally plate, I also Invested in a CNC Milling Machine. I can know do all my Bespoke Billet stuff myself....
I am a Fully qualified Machine Tool Engineer so was building CNC machines 20 years ago, and know finally have my own......
